Woman here. Lives in London. Walk everywhere. Never felt unsafe. But my friend journalist @christogrozev was targeted by Kremlin agents based in your constituency who planned to abduct him. That’s pretty scary. Where’s your outrage about that?

All these liberal men telling me how safe they feel in London. Good for you. Millions of women don’t feel like that. In fact, they feel scared, intimidated and fearful. Why don’t we listen to them?

🆘 Starmer is making the classic Chamberlain mistake: He thinks he can “appease” the far right by adopting their policies — weakening the ECHR, hardening borders, and rejecting Europe, when history shows this only strengthens authoritarian movements. You don’t defeat the far

Yet again Farage parrots Russian talking points. Just as he did over the Salisbury attack.

Businesses across the UK have felt the weight of Brexit in their daily operations, with new layers of red tape touching almost every stage of production, trade and recruitment. What were once straightforward processes have become slower and more expensive, leaving firms with less

Something that's been under-reported: Property tax is devolved. As of right now, there's no "mansion tax" happening in Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland. Probably there will be, with Wales/Scotland likely to enact their own tax, potentially with different bands and rates...

Brexit is costing the government around £90bn. Without Brexit we could have tax cuts and spending increases. We would have hope and optimism, not gloom and despair. Brexit harms the British people, especially the poor and vulnerable. No politician can support Brexit and claim

Public pressure for an inquiry into Russian influence on UK politics is growing - and rightly so 🧵 Our legal case at the European Court of Human Rights argues exactly the same thing: the government must investigate. Follow our campaign 👇 https://t.co/lK7TkDCz3L

If a business can not afford to pay it's employees a living wage then 3 things to note... 1/ the employees are not on benefits, the business is on subsidies! 2/ the business should be gone if it is not economical. 3/ it is probably because the owners are taking excess profit!

I see all the headlines today refer to ‘Benefit Street’ What they don’t tell you is 60% of those on benefits are in work. No outcry on those employers not paying enough or concocting hours to enable people to claim UC. First it was immigrants. Now it’s those on benefits.
