@jdpoc As an American dealing with Trump's fascist authoritarianism, it must be depressing seeing the effects of Brexit. That I saw an article a while ago that said the average Brit is £4000 poorer in the last 10 years due to Brexit. Is that true?

@arthuryi Close enough. The numbers I've seen from valid sources are £3200 to £3800, and of course, increasing every year.

@jdpoc It isn't - EU countries are in a worse state than this one and if we had a proper Brexit we would have been much better off

@DorothyF48339 "EU countries are in a worse state than this one" France, Spain, Germany: Better healthcare, pensions. Lower crime, housing costs, energy costs, food costs. Higher standard of living, disposable income, social mobility.

@jdpoc Farage advocated a second referendum saying any narrow result would be “unfinished business”. Naturally he changed his stance once they got the result in the bag and row back on all the unrealistic pledges Leave made just to get the 2% swing they needed.

@jdpoc I trust that those decent Londoners unfortunate enough to receive his ‘London needs Reform’ leaflet in the post will return it suitably annotated in the SAE provided. Make them pay! #LiarFarage #Reform

@jdpoc Tell us how it is a "disaster"? How is your life worse as a direct consequence of leaving? How will my life be better as a member?

@jdpoc @joannab64017534 What’s holding him back? Does he ever speak words that he means or is it all glib?
