Meta was the white knight of Open Source in the U.S. but it seems clear they will likely move to closed source based on talent poaching/capex spend on data centers (need to keep IP private with this spend) and Mark's comments. This leaves the door wide open to new Open Source.

the more i think about it the more im convinced humans are going to be so dependent on models / agents. think about it . - content is going to infinity (ai-generated tweets, tiktoks). - apps / services going to infinity (vibe coding goes mainstream). if you’re a human, why tf.
