Sap feeding is widespread among Australian geckoes but they are widely regarded as insectivores. In her honours research, Corrine Edwards shows that dtellas feed on sap frequently. So should they be classified as omnivores? https://t.co/LlAuzC03qk

There are promising signs of recovery in the rugged escarpments of the Sydney region that were toasted in the Black Summer Bushfires. Our surveys have revealed that some reptiles are doing well in burnt landscapes. @eco__aly @OwenBushfire @flamin_herps @ScaledSolution

Brilliant frogs!
It's #FrogFriday and the first day of #FrogIDWeek! So I thought I'd share a crowd favourite (and my fave), the Crucifix Frog, Notaden bennettii. If you are lucky enough to live in their range, listen out for those distant 'whoops' and be sure to record with the @FrogIDAus app! 🐸

I've driven this road close to 50 times now and not seen one Cunningham Skink, yet yesterday afternoon basically every rock pile seems to have some! Even this mailbox/garden!
