One problem with making jokes in law review article titles is that people rely on titles to know what your article is about. You might be in stitches over your title, but it's making it harder for your readers—and probably less likely they'll spend their time trying to read it.

Poor titling and curse of knowledge in econ. I have no idea what "local projections" are. No interest in reading a paper that has an uninformative title and doesnt define LP in the abstract.

In 2022, Germany raised their minimum wage by 22%, the highest in the EU. The result?. Significantly higher wages, no significant impact on layoffs/job retention, no decrease in overall employment levels, and only a modest decrease in hours that doesn't offset the higher wages.

Surprised this paper title isn't "Borjas was wrong". (Immigration INCREASED the wages of less educated native workers.).

Hey you! You should check out this cool new paper. "War Causes Religiosity". The authors scraped web images of hundreds of thousands of gravestones of deceased U.S. Americans. People who were randomly drafted into war are at least 20% more likely to have religious gravestones
