Yesterday evening specialist officers and our new control managers joined colleagues from @HMCoastguard at Saxmundham fire station to discuss our multiagency response to coastal and water related incidents. Further joint training and exercises are planned #coastguard #multiagency

The 999 system is now working as normal, with no reported issues since yesterday. Thank you for your cooperation whilst the BT outage was being fixed. You can now return to using 999 in an emergency. Thank you.
Suffolk’s blue light services have held a multi-agency meeting to manage the national BT outage affecting the 999 call handling system. Suffolk’s services are operating as normal, and in an emergency, please call 999 in the first instance. If you are unable to connect via 999…

'Meet the crew' Firefighter Mark Lye: Mark is Transport Manager for East Suffolk Council and is available to respond to North Lowestoft fire station when he is at work in Lowestoft. Mark is also the on-call Watch Manager of Saxmundham fire station in his home town. 👨💻+📟=👨🚒🚒

🚒Incident🚒 #BlueWatch mobilised at 17:11 yesterday in the ERT to assist @Saxmundhamfire @FireLeiston and #Framlingham at an RTC at #Yoxford. Crews assisted with the release of 3 casualties via a full roof removal. (Pic taken during post inc debrief)
