On Sat 12 July, Sudbury’s on-call firefighters – with support from Long Melford – raised £2,912 serving food to cyclists in the overnight Dunwich Dynamo. Funds go to The Fire Fighters Charity and Sudbury’s defibrillator appeal. #SuffolkFRS #EveryonesResponsible

Fourteen on-call Sudbury firefighters have raised £700+ for defibrillators in the town after paddling 20 miles in tough weather during their annual “Kayak to the Sea” challenge. Organised by the crew, the event highlights their dedication to community safety — on and off duty.

❌Keep tea towels and cloths away from the cooker and hob.👚Take care when wearing loose clothing as this can catch fire.🍳Make sure saucepans are secure on the cooker and handles are not sticking out.❌Avoid leaving children in the kitchen alone when cooking
