There are no requirements for any of Australia’s 38 public universities to make the minutes of their council meetings public. Neither university staff, students, nor the public have the right to know the decision-making processes of the councils that govern AU public universities

I welcome this @JasonClareMP, but the unwillingness of uni governing bodies and senior officials to do the right thing is proven. A major shift is needed and it starts with dismantling the assumption that people at the top will do the right thing.
