They didn't scrap MK11 crypt, they were going to do it for MK1 but the project was getting too big so they decided to make it a separate project from MK1. That's why we got crappy Invasions mode. The next NRS game is an MK game, but not a fighting vs game. My 2 cents. (not IJ3).
