if you don't have CS2 access and want to check, try 'verify integrity of game files' and then double click CS:GO app on Steam to see if CS2 pops up. This is how I eventually got it to work; worth trying!

one celebrates the game, the other celebrates the tournament organizer (and looks bad). using Purple and Yellow on the overlay for the Major was an awful idea, CS is Blue and Orange. It's about the GAME not about YOU.

It's Happening! New CS2 Update just dropped. You can now equip M4A4 and M4A1-S at the same time, which is BIG. I assume this means they'll be adding some new weapons.
Any 5 pistols, any 5 mid-tier weapons, and any 5 rifles. Today's Counter-Strike 2 update introduces a revised loadout system where players select 15 weapons from 3 categories on CT and T-side to bring with them into matches. Including the M4A4 and M4A1-S.

ESL removed xray & radar from Major stadium screens, crowd was cheating by cheering when players had crosshair on enemy through smoke or walls. Best solution. Only other solution is to remove players from audience, which ruins the experience even more. Not players' fault.
