As heat rises, the City has added 3 water trailers — including one at Sankofa Square — and is distributing 14K water bottles this weekend to those most in need. Proud to see public spaces activated for care and community. #HeatReliefTO #SankofaSquare #TorontoHeatWave.
An update: Three additional water trailers have been secured and deployed today at Nathan Phillips Square, Trinity Bellwoods Park and Sankofa Square. They are available 24/7 until Tuesday. These are in addition to the two the City owns and deploys to events and high traffic.
