1/🧵 Let’s demystify the @maxonredshift Tessellation Settings in a big old 🧵. Tessellation in Redshift is all about adding detail to your geometry by subdividing it at render time. Works hand-in-hand with displacement. It can all be a bit confusing (even for me), so let’s get.

There's still quite a bunch you can do in #C4D 's old Sketch-n-Toon that you can't do in #redshift3d (or perhaps any other similar toon system?) .Why don't we use that old cpu based S-N-T much? it's way too slow. So I have hopes for the future Redshift system 🤞.
