My niece has had a boatload of testing done over the last week and she is showing high markers for Leukemia. Its not definite she has it but we are hoping for the best and preparing for the worst. They have to wait for all testing to come back

Sunday was my 11 year anniversary of having gastric bypass surgery
On the left, i was 320. Today, i am 175-180.
You lose your old life, but you gain an entirely new one. I wouldn’t be doing any of what i do now, 11 years ago.
If you are on the fence, do it. It saved my life.

If you can not understand why Cam was sent down, please understand this: The AHL is NOT a punishment but a means to push harder. Cam did not knock doors down during camp or pre-season games. Sending him to the A will provide him with more time to gain experience and confidence.

My thoughts and condolences to the Baskow family.
When my Uncle passed last year, Jamey was the FIRST person by my side. Thats the type of stuff you don’t forget.
At 210pm yesterday my mom passed away at the hospital surrounded by the very people that loved her very much.
She battled, she was a fighter. That's the Baskow way never give up. She's finally in no pain after 4 years.
We have gained a guardian angel.

9 years ago i participated in St Lukes Annual Weight Management Fashion Show. The picture on the left is from 2011!
I was asked to participate again this year as they ask a former participant every year. I accepted!

CT Scan normal. Im gonna feel banged up for a few days and im under concussion protocol.
Im on my way to the Emergency Room. I fell down my apartment steps on my back around 11 am and im very nauseous and dry heaving and in a considerable amount of pain.

Update on my Uncle and its not one that i want to give:
He is off the ventilator but has yet to respond. He was running a fever and has been on antibiotics the last few days.
My mom, Aunt and Uncle are all gathering at the hospital to make a decision for a DNR.

Thank you to everyone that wished me a happy birthday!! I worked, went to CrossFit, and then went to my best friends house and she cooked me dinner. Got home and opened my gifts from my parents (apple watch bands and a theragun for my sore muscles)! Here is to 34!

I had weight loss surgery in 2012
I have had 6 surgeries total in 11 years (1 was not related)
Even tho ive had complications, i would do it all over again in a heartbeat. I have an amazing surgeon and his team always get me right back on track if there are issues!

Your NHL team has a minor league team. You don’t have to invest yourself with the minor league team but at least familiarize yourself with names. They will eventually be a name to you.

4 months ago: I was miserable at my job. Getting written up for everything and anything. In trouble everyday for things i wasn’t at fault for.
Now: Doing the same job, different company. My boss sent out a shoutout email thanking me for what i did for a case on my caseload.
