Really proud of my branch and pleased to have got this resolution. You always think about what you could have done better but overall, this was a really, really significant step we took. Since its done now a few points: 🧵👇. #ucuRISING.
🚨🧵. Last week our ballot on this offer closed. Our members accepted the offer by a majority of 68% to 32%. This closes our 22/23 pay and conditions dispute, and brings to an end the first ever strike in an outsourced Higher Education provider in the UK. #ucuRISING.

It's incredible people claim that Sultana and Corbyn forming a new party will split the 'left' vote and allow Farage and Reform to win. If they do nothing, Farage and Reform will win. Starmer's Labour won't be able to compete with them. Starmer's govt are *hated* and rightly so.

Solidarity with @UNISONSteve, who I have always known to be a brilliant and informative example of how working class activists can become genuine+serious leaders of our unions. Yet again, the Unison bureaucracy is victimising its best activists instead of building with them.
Steve North, a fighting trade unionist, a leader of the left and supporter of Socialist Alternative, has recently been suspended unjustly from his positions within the UNISON trade union.

This guy genuinely thinks doing an impression of Farage will save him. Incredible. He has absolutely no idea why Labour are losing votes to Reform. The British political class have thrown up a lot of monstrosities over the decades, but this one might just be the thickest.
If you want to live in the UK, you should speak English. That’s common sense. So we’re raising English language requirements across every main immigration route.
