I can’t go into detail about the complaint against me in order to protect other people and outstanding processes, but I want you to know that I’ve only ever tried to act in the interests of my union and working class people. That has not changed and will not change.

2/2 The internal process is now exhausted and the sanction will take immediate effect. I have not been excluded from membership and, as a UNISON member I will continue to challenge this decision.

1/2 Following the outcome of an internal UNISON process that arose from a complaint made in 2023, in relation to my role of Chair of UNISON’s NEC Staffing Committee, I have been informed that I will be suspended from all UNISON roles for 18 months.
