This is peak @nytimes. Falsely claim that Palantir collects data, while… they literally collect and sell Americans’ data. The fact that @sheeraf likely didn’t know this shows 1) glaring technical ineptitude and 2) a belief that their readers are too stupid to critically think.
Palantir doesn’t collect data on Americans but The New York Times does. If you compare third party tracking on NYT vs Palantir websites, NYT makes 38 third-party requests. Palantir makes NONE. They bash Palantir for data privacy but sell and track customer data THEMSELVES

The New York Times likes America depending on who is in the White House. Palantir works for America always.
The recently published article by the New York Times is blatantly untrue. Palantir never collects data to unlawfully surveil Americans, and our Foundry platform employs granular security protections. If the facts were on its side, the New York Times would not have needed to.
