Today we stood with our allies to demand Housing NOW! We need real solutions not criminalization. We are united in our opposition to devastating homeless sweeps, the new NYPD quality of life policing, involuntary commitments, shelter sanctions, and federal cuts.

Today’s ruling is a well-deserved win for homeless NYers who fought for the CityFHEPS Laws. It’s been 2 years since they passed, and thousands have been evicted and have remained stuck in shelters because of @NYCMayor . It's time for him to reverse course before more harm is done

The Bronx is the epicenter of NYC’s housing crisis. 8 of the 10 highest-risk districts are located in the Bronx. And nearly every Bronx community ranks in the top 30 for housing threats citywide. It’s time for the NYC Council to fully fund #CHPS at $4.95M in FY26!

The proposal passed by one vote and Malliotakis, as the only Republican House Representative in NYC, did nothing to protect her constituents. If this reconciliation budget bill passes it will have devastating impact on Medicaid, Medicare, SNAP, Section 8 and NYCHA recipients.

2/3: It’s hard enough for SNAP recipients to provide for themselves and their families, especially with prices rising and cuts looming. Now they have to worry about their private data being put into DOGE and Trump's massive federal surveillance database without their consent.

How? Expand CityFHEPS as an eviction prevention tool, fix administrative barriers causing unnecessary delays, and reverse proposed rent hikes for CityFHEPS voucher holders with earned income.
