For many years, I tried and failed to get my leadership to prioritize supply chain security in our build processes. It was never addressed and the justification was the typical “well it hasn’t happened to us” logical fallacy. I hope today is a nice wake-up call.

Does anyone know what he heck is going on with Amazon Linux’s development? AL23 relies on Python 3.9 which goes EOL in October of this year. Amazon has made no announcements on future releases and I’m a bit worried because we cannot run EOL software in certain environments. 😮‍💨
