If you say you support disabled people against hate crime/incidents & casually use disabling language or you see someone being abused because of who they are or who they are perceived to be & stand idly by, you are part of the problem! #BeAnUpstanderNotABystander

I mean, heaven forbid the "chair" is ever occupied and you actually "speak" to it. That would be too real for you to cope???
Visiting the SBB HQ and their customer, insight and retail teams - where each meeting room has a chair representing the customer to ensure they “always have a seat at the table”. Love this.

Not blocking - scrutiny, if it had contained appropriate safeguards to prevent coercion, or exploitation of those who may not want it but feel they have no choice due to cost, lack of palliative care or being made to feel like a burden - then the scrutiny would not take as long!
Lord Cooper is right. When a minority of Peers exploit procedure to block a Bill backed by the public and MPs, democracy is being undermined. Call on the government to intervene: https://t.co/J7hzsjdhmk

So basically, everything we said would happen with this Bill has happened, despite assurances that they wouldn't. Disabked and proud, because (apparently) we are not worth it!
@schellhornmusic @KemiBadenoch @Conservatives We’ve been told the palliative care plan is now not coming until next year. This is not right

https://t.co/rBQbxLxiHy. Lord Falconer claims his new amendments to the Terminally Ill Adults bill are stronger. There are not. They are unpicking amendments MPs fought for to protect disabled and vulnerable people. I tried to raise this but there

New polling shows a large majority of the public back the House of Lords' right to block the Assisted Dying Bill if it isn't fit for purpose. https://t.co/2zfnImAbzz

Kim Leadbeater’s assisted dying bill is coming to the final stages in the House of Lords before becoming law but a group of peers believe they can block it

My thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by the horrific attack attack on Bondi Beach overnight. People should be free to be who they are, and celebrate their community and faith in peace.

Pam Duncan-Glancy MSP (@GlasgowPam) just sounded the alarm. Some people are in intolerable situations because they can’t access good care, and therefore may choose assisted suicide for financial reasons.

Also, we paid nearly 10k of our own money to get it, down payment was £7999 and then we paid for the hoist to be fitted.

Just boarded the 1108 train from Orpington and they are using the station wheelchair to assist another passenger. A younger "lady" & older woman qalk in to the carriage from the next with some bags. "There's bloody two of em Mum, we'll have to make do" they turned and went back!

This song for me tells me we should support one another in troubled times. My thoughts are with anyone feeling troubled in today's climate. Let's be kind to one another. We are all human, thats what binds us all, our humanity. Be human kind! https://t.co/zW1F8RqaL1

The when someone comes to assist I am told I should have asked for help at the gateline. When I said the map said step free accessibility was told "well it is!" But then told the procedure is you ask at the gateline. Feeling humiliated and angry. Proactive staff , NOT!

So @tfl was told Northern line at kings cross/ St P was step free. The train is too far above the Harrington hump so after trying twice I have called information to be told I was in the wrong place on the platform. Err that's cos the information point is not where the hump is!

Well that's a first @ArrivaKent, I pushed the blue button twice to get off at Chatham Asda on the 101. We went straight past and I am now on a bus back from Maidsone Ringlestone to Chatham Asda. Had to wait as the wheelchair space e on the first bus was occupied.

And the employers who would rather choose less qualified non disabled people over disabled candidates? What happens to them? Nothing???
Craig is stunning example about working even with significant disabilities Proof that huge number of people who could be working, have chosen not to work. This cannot go on UK going bust

THIS!!!
We have serious concerns about the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill for England and Wales and therefore cannot support it in its current form. Our patients are among the most vulnerable in society and need to be sufficiently protected. Briefing👇 https://t.co/wv2GqeXowE

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone impacted by the awful incident in Liverpool today. What should have been such a celebration has ended in tragedy.

There hasn't been a "register" for decades, @Nigel_Farage have you been caught in a time ward to the last century???

The right-wing populist party Reform UK has given a rare glimpse of its disability policies, after its leader Nigel Farage suggested he was strongly in favour of cuts to disabled people’s benefits.…

We tried to stop our mom’s euthanasia, but with less than 16 “business” hours between finding out and her scheduled death, we were at a terrible disadvantage. We managed to get a warrant for her arrest under the mental health act to postpone it to buy us time, but instead my mom
@RightToLifeUK She obviously has no idea how difficult it is to get an injunction and how expensive. And how do you do that when all the medical records surrounding the death are "private". And how do you do it if you don't even know your loved one has been scheduled to die?

Another day in the Assisted Suicide bill committee. A series of amendments to make it safer were rejected. The committee voted down amendments to ensure doctors can’t suggest AS to patients - even to children. 1/
