❗ 86% of low-income households on Universal Credit are going without essentials. We’re in Parliament with @TrussellUK and hundreds of people to talk to MPs and call for change. Our social security system should, at the very least, ensure everyone can afford the essentials.

Shocked & appalled at this! The most vulnerable people have just survived (or not) a pandemic, Cost of Living Crisis & rise in energy bills and now this! On a day when 700 activists were ‘heard’ by MPs. The community are NOT numbers to be balanced on a spreadsheet
