The Democrats have managed to position themselves as the party of business as usual, and that doesn’t work. They need to admit there is a problem.

I actually don't have to imagine it, the first vote I ever cast was for Obama in 2008 because I knew even that if he didn't support marriage equality that Democrats were still the path forward for LGBTQ rights. I lived that. I made that choice. Sack up please.
