NOAA’s latest coral bleaching forecast signals a tough season ahead. As ocean temperatures climb, reefs across the tropics are at risk—some may not recover. Support the work by @mmri_maldives by reporting the status of your reefs.

Exploring Maahuttigalaa, our coral reef research island. This 3D model, created using photogrammetry, allows us to study this remote island in South Huvadhoo Atoll with great accuracy. This digital representation provides valuable insights for scientific research & monitoring.

Check out this new research! 🌱 Seagrass globally is declining rapidly, but the Maldives stands out as a rare global seagrass ‘bright spot’. https://t.co/2ynWEQLHE6

When we feed sharks, we distort their natural behaviour's and set up potentially dangerous situations for all. FEEDING MUST STOP!
