A coastal flood advisory is in effect for Charleston and Coastal Colleton Counties today from 12 PM to 4 PM. Minor saltwater inundation is expected today. This will result in some roads becoming impassable and minor flooding of some properties.

Flood Advisories are in effect for portions of Charleston county, including Downtown Charleston. NEVER drive around barricades into floodwaters! It takes only 12 inches of fast-moving water to carry off a small car and 18 inches of water to sweep a larger vehicle away.
