I remember scrambling around trying to find a placement, then ended up in two of the best departments ever. I hope these nine students are as lucky as I was.

Interesting when considering equity of exams for the current session. Of course, it would also be good to know if there were historical regional difference in general rates of attendance.

When we look at local authorities, the change in attendance from the average in 2018/19 to last week is stark. Attendance is down 8.55% in Glasgow, compared to being up by 0.3% in Shetland, for example. Full list:
