Exciting data from a human malaria re-challenge model deciphering how humans become immunologically tolerant to falciparum #malaria. Big thanks to fantastic collaborators @spence_lab.
Muñoz Sandoval, Bach, Nahrendorf, Spence et al. @EdinburghUni show that a single #malaria episode reprograms T cell activation to minimize cytotoxicity and injury during subsequent infections. @S1monJDraper
