late stage growth rounds for crypto companies are often done in equity, this signals that it is harder / impossible to sell tokens to more traditional players i'd argue this is not because they are uninterested but rather most tokens do not fit their requirements when it comes

Everyone complains about Solana's memecoin years, but they were really just the best stress testing for ICM and bringing all of finance onchain. They really proved they could deal with the load, and that's the win.
