If you’re a Christian and somehow just finding out about the Indian Residential School genocide and your first instinct is to minimize or deny that the Church could do this, just stop and take a minute. I study this every day, it’s every bit as bad and worse than you’ve heard.

One of the major reasons I dropped out of my MDiv in sem was because all my profs and mentors said it was impossible, as a pastor, to be friends with your congregation. I couldn’t accept that as true. What do pastors think about this? What were you taught?
