Flooding has shut down part of Haywood Gap Rd. in Tryon. The waters of the N Pacolet River have come all the way up to the bridge.

Doppler estimated rainfall totals are incredible in Polk County after heavy rain overnight. Damage is being reported around the county, including this bridge collapse. @graceewlos is on the ground gathering more info.
