We asked students across LA how they would redesign their schools’ outdoor spaces, and the answers were clear: kids want more trees, more plants, and more shade. No child dreams of playing on asphalt.

It's amazing that all the City had to do was concede the land and allow it to be built and then outside entities are willing invest $1M/unit to develop affordable housing.

Yesterday we joined @CD5LosAngeles in unveiling a memorial sign at Olympic and Overland to honor Monique Muñoz, whose life was taken too soon by an act of speeding on our streets. This sign serves as a reminder to drivers to slow down and practice safe driving behavior.
