I've updated my article on the women's 6 day world record progression with a note about Danish athlete Stine Rex's recent 913.6km run. It exceeded the current record by over 11km & will be the new world record if ratified by @iaunews.#UltrarunningHistory.

WORLD RECORD MISSED BY SECONDS. At the recent Gloucester 24 hour race, Sarah Webster(L) missed breaking Carolyn Hunter-Rowe's(R) 31 year World track record for 40 miles by 7 seconds. I briefly compare the two races and the two athletes. Read at the linkš½.
