95% of sales volume was what
Breakdown of the Black Friday data tells us: -Consumer is weakening. -95% of sales volume was financed. -67% of that intends not to pay off within 30 days. -Roughly $1B was spent using BNPL models which are the worst debt. This points to a *really* unhealthy economy.

Why are Elon and Joe posting this kind of stuff? No evidence of torture or beheading. 90 people died. The atrocities was terrible regardless but why spread misinformation. 🤷🏽♂️??
The media lied about the extent of the atrocities in order to maintain “social cohesion”. I was in Paris the night of this Islamic terrorist attack. The city got locked down after these barbaric events unfolded. The French, and the world, deserved to know the extent of the

I think the news on this is bullshit - if you built a company in SF (tech Babylon) you’d effectively pay 33% tax on sale, here just under 20%! When this was Philip Green people went mad, and he moved to Monaco BEFORE building his business. Nik is a phenomenal Entrepenuer, but …
Nik is a phenomenal entrepreneur and his departure a huge loss to Britain. Reeves and Starmer chase away people who built $75 billion companies, pay millions in taxes and employ thousands, and roll out the red carpet to people who come here illegally to live off benefits.

Barry is the don !
Barry Diller ran, built, and often revolutionized ABC, Paramount, and Fox all by the time he was 49, making more legendary movies and shows than I can list… And then he really started making money. He bought QVC, and then went on a tear, investing as an “internet opportunist”

National treasure status achieved. 🏆 🇬🇧
Gary Lineker on winning the National TV Award, "It's not lost on me why I might have won this award" "Aside from presenting Match of the Day, the most iconic football show for 26 years" "Also, I think it demonstrates that perhaps it's ok sometimes to use our platform to speak

This picture is absolutely insane. Spitalfields, 41 years ago in 1984. Now some of the more expensive real estate…anywhere. Worth reflecting on when people say London has ‘collapsed’.

Wayve is ridiculously good... deeply inspiring to see a tiny team in London decisively out-execute Tesla Better intuitions about the nature of perception > 100x more engineering / compute
🤯 Incredible to see @wayve_ai Embodied AI generalise to new environments. Here's a clip from my autonomous drive last week in Stuttgart, Germany 🇩🇪 2:18 thru a tunnel, 8:45 reading German lane markings for navigation, 12:30 busy traffic, 17:30 overtaking double parked vehicles

It’s now painfully obvious Brexit hasn’t worked, and is actively harming us economically. (It didn’t even control our bloody borders!) Given the British people would clearly vote overwhelmingly to go back into the EU, we should have another referendum.
The number of Britons saying the UK was right to vote to leave the EU has hit its lowest level since the referendum, ahead of the fifth anniversary of Brexit on Friday Right to vote to leave: 30% (-3 from Nov) Wrong to vote to leave: 55% (=)
