We face big challenges, but the power and impact of public health are tremendous. With an approach rooted in equity and a commitment to including those who too often confront structural barriers, we can meet this moment and improve the health of all residents in the Commonwealth.
Today, Secretary Walsh announced that Dr. Robert Goldstein will be the next @MassDPH Commissioner, effective April 18. Dr. Goldstein currently serves as a Senior Policy Advisor at @CDCgov, an infectious disease physician at @MassGenBrigham, and a faculty member at @harvardmed.
