So tonight is the second night of our @AshburtonCS charity dining evenings and for the first time in years I’m going to be dining with Mrs H and friends. We couldn’t resist the menu that @RobSpencerChef has put together with Indian inspired flavours. Bring it on 👍

Well it’s been great to be back with our accredited culinary diploma courses but we don’t have too long to wait now to open our doors for @AshburtonCS to inspire leisure customers in line with government guidance and indoor hospitality reopening. Just 3 more weekends to go.👍

We were so ready for our new batch of students @AshburtonCS and the Covid safe kitchens are looking amazing. Myself and the team are gutted that we couldn’t get going after all the work we put in but understand the need to stay safe. We will be back as soon as we are allowed 👨‍🍳👊🏻

To clarify, it’s not about the need to close; we support this and have done all year. Of course health comes first. It’s about being given only 9 hours notice. Our team had been in since 8am prepping for NYE - even a day’s extra notice would’ve made a huge difference.

Devon & Cornwall now in tier 3 as of...MIDNIGHT TONIGHT 😳 So every New Year’s Eve booking we’ve spent all week booking in, confirming rules to, ordered food & drink for, prepped for, etc etc etc, we must now cancel on less than 24 hours notice. WHAT A JOKE! 🤬🤬🤬

2/2 #Manchester addresses. So do we have an influx of people on lockdown travelling to the #SouthWest? How does this work with #Coronavirusuk #Lockdown2 do @DC_Police check the PNC records of people travelling from lockdown areas? Surely this spreads even more? Thoughts please?

1/2 So how does this work, living and working in #Devon we are very lucky. This morning on the M5 the traffic was mad (and still is) caravans, motorhomes and cars all loaded up coming in on holiday. But where all from?? Two sign written van full of people even had

So as hospitality opens its doors today please respect the effort that has gone into it. The risk assessments for this are huge and we are at a critical point with the virus. We are passionate people who love our industry. It’s been a tough 3 months and we now need to stay open.
