To qualify for the #SAVE Plan, you must have federal student loans (unfortunately, parent plus loans are not eligible). Private loans are not eligible for #SAVE or any other income-driven repayment plans. #TodaysVoicesTues

Yes - see if you're eligible for SAVE at https://t.co/AYCzwvX0HP ! Borrowers already on the old Revised Pay As You Earn or the REPAYE Plan will be put on the SAVE Plan automatically; they won't need to sign up. SAVE replaces REPAYE.

SAVE is one type of income-driven repayment (IDR) plan. SAVE is not going to replace #StudentDebt cancellation (which is going through a negotiated rulemaking process) - but is an interim solution that will help millions of borrowers as payments return.

SAVE is an income-driven repayment (IDR) plan that calculates payments based on a borrower’s income and family size – not their loan balance – and forgives remaining balances after a certain number of years. #TodaysVoicesTues

Today the Supreme Court gutted affirmative action. While many would call into question the need to consider race in the admissions process, many flagship universities don’t reflect their state’s Black or Latino high school graduate populations.
