This is a farce, ridiculous banana republic conduct by, along with Britain, historically one of the world's preeminent advocates for the rule of law.

Let's keep in mind the object should be fairer and freer trade - including with China. Canada should aim to lower our tariffs on Chinese vehicles and other goods, and for China to lower its tariffs on Canadian canola and other goods. Mutually blocking them is mutually harmful.
Hey @fordnation. Why are you allowing Chinese liquour in the @LCBO, but not American alcohol? The Chinese government has massive tarrifs on billions of dollars of Canadian agricultural goods. Are farmers and fishermen not worthy of your protest or are you just being a horse's

A lurid social media headline, which portrays a disaster but isn't. Two million people work in EU banking, a number declining since 1999 due to digitalization and restructuring replacing costly, slow, labor-intensive processes with better service and 24/7 access from anywhere.

๐จ๐ฆCanada and ๐บ๐ธUSA messed up our EV programs in 2025. We are the only major region where EV sales were flat this year. Hopefully, Canada fixes that for 2026. Globally, 2025 is another record year for EVs, with over 20 million EVs sold, up 21% from 2024. 25% of all new cars.
2025 global EV sales reach 18.5 million thru November, exceeding the 17.1-17.5 million total for all of 2024. December is the biggest sales month and will exceed 2 million. 2025 global EV sales will top 20 million and 25% share milestone! https://t.co/qdr08pOFgJ

Carney vowed to move faster than any Prime Minister before him. His Alberta deal may surpass Trudeauโs record, but it still doesnโt go far enough. Conservatives worked with the Liberals to pass C-5 so projects could start now. Instead, Carneyโs deal sets a timeline somewhere

"The Q3 increase was led by higher exports of crude oil and crude bitumen (+6.7%)..." In 2024 ๐จ๐ฆCanada exported roughly 4 million barrels/day, about $153 billion. Yesterday's MOU references increasing oil export capacity by a million barrels/day, or 25%. In the face of Trump's
Today's data: GDP growth for the third quarter of 2025. Positive growth of 0.6% compared to Q2 (annualized rate of 2.6%). A strong report overall, headline growth beat expectations. Details from StatCan here: https://t.co/c38grTZ46k
