This morning I casually asked a colleague how things were. My gut told me to ask for a 2nd time, after a wobbly âfineâ. The floodgates opened. Ask twice. You donât know how much someone might need a listening ear. And thereâs no greater privilege than providing it. #asktwice

At the end of my first half-term RIS, @Globeducate, it was great to reflect on What Went Well as we work hard to develop our wellbeing programme. @AdrianBethune, thank you, as ever, for the inspiration! https://t.co/LNqcHBZDi9

I'm thoroughly enjoying teaching an on-line wellbeing course this week to teachers in Catalonia. They're so engaged and enthusiastic, they inspire me! Being able to reflect on each session, and tweak the next one, here with my daughters, is an added bonus. #teachertraining

Great interview with @AlexScott . So many people need to hear the opening words of her book: ââŠwhatâs worse than feeling guilty about being sad is putting on a happy face ⊠[and] pretending to yourself that this is a form of strength.â https://t.co/W3OwLdCYaL

Iâm feeling very grateful to have contributed a âTale from the Classroomâ to @AdrianBethune 2nd Edition of âWellbeing in the Primary Classroomâ. His first book influenced my practice hugely and I highly recommend his work. What a privilege to play a tiny part in this book. đ

I found this note from a Year 3 child, left anonymously on my desk after they borrowed our classroom. Gratitude for P4C and wobbly spelling that me smile - what a find at the end of a busy day! #gratitude #P4C #smile

Really enjoyable presenting in Rome today at the @ResearchedR conference. Great conversations about we can support wellbeing and maintain high academic standards; as well as some brilliant sessions on many other topics.

A brilliant thread about the huge benefits of breath control. Definitely one to share with the teens in my sessions who are skeptical it makes a difference!

Excellent advice about how to support your children during exams. Gratefully received as a parent of two stressed Y12s. Thank you, @Penny_Ten. #examstress #examanxiety
I wrote a blog post on how to support your kids at this time. Itâs all about being present, collective social responsibility, a sense of perspective - and food of course! https://t.co/3ffwS7IwAw

Thank you @positivepresent for inspiring one of my 10 year old students to draw his own Positivity Potion in his Healthy Living journal. Our students' journals are a collection of wellbeing strategies that they feel will support them in times of need. This one appealed to many!

This week @SouthlandsGBIS, 15 members of staff have shared the creative ways they are supporting their students in coping with change; Y12 students created an assembly with their advice for Y7-10; and Y7 have planned their ideas for Y1-6. What a week of collaboration!
