If you want to connect I'm over in the Blue place. The salute was the final straw for me. Really hoping others migrate.

This symposium is already fascinating. Currently listening to a plenary discussion from Ghana about the possible practicalities of appointment of a denominational Pastor for Female Affairs / Women's ministry advisor.

Project Violet Lament We have put together resources for the Project Violet Lament. These can be used individually, in small groups and within a church service to reflect on the outcomes of Project Violet and join together in this period of lament. https://t.co/bERpqe0XIU

This year we've been sharing weekly highlights from our library. We've looked at Christian Doctrine, Trauma Theology, Decolonial Theology, Feminist Theology and Trans Theology (just to name a few!). What were your reading highlights from 2024?

Gisele Pelicot should be the Time person of the year. For bravely waiving her anonymity in one of the most horrific rape cases the world has seen, to take a stand for survivors and shame the perpetrators. Instead they’re featuring Trump, a rapist, for the second time. Obviously.

At the start of October we had the honour of hosting the 2024 Women's Voices Conference. ""The Women's Voices conference this year was brilliant and thought provoking as ever. I thoroughly enjoyed it - an oasis in the desert of 'church stuff'!"

Lemme tell you, nothing brings you back to earth after a hard day than 2 little boys laughing hysterically about butt jokes.

Walking through Glasgow Centre this morning I pass a side street transformed into a movie set. A dirty alley transformed by a person's re-visioning. Don't let anyone tell you that we don't need the Creatives to re-envision a new world.

If youre in despair, pick up a history book. Before every win for human rights came a fight for it. We are now a part of that fight. We are not alone. We have all of these histories to guide us. 8/8

Things have just got a lot more difficult . Here’s what I think . I had no control over what just happened . None . But I do have control over how I will react to it . And I am not going to give up on the beautiful and the good , the grip on my dreams just got tighter .

I'll never forget how book sales surged during the pandemic when businesses closed and everyone was stuck indoors, and I'm convinced that many people who would love to read more are unable because our culture of constant busyness makes it insanely hard to.

2/ and the boys have to stand up. That makes me feel a bit funny and uncomfortable. Eldest boy child replies: yes, that's sexist, you should speak to mum about that... Must be doing something right!

On a walk today, youngest boy child (8) says to oldest boy child (13), in our school assembly next week we've to sing a song, and it talks about being friends even if people are bigger and stronger than you. But when we sing 'big and strong' the girls have to sit down
