If you’re still clearing Amazon packages off your porch every day, you aren’t serious about preventing America from slithering into Autocracy.
Cancelled a whole host of Amazon related services and memberships today. The only way to send a message is the market. HT @profgalloway

A not insubstantial amount of discourse on here looks like this now.

The paper of Woodward and Bernstein swirls the drain together with the network of Cronkite and Murrow.
Jeff Bezos, who could keep the Wash Post a pillar of American democracy with the change dug out from his limousine seats, sets an example of surrender to authoritarianism for every other business person and institution in America.

🙌 Clicktatorship 🙌
The Trump administration has fused a social-media worldview with authoritarian tendencies—and in this “clicktatorship,” Donald Moynihan argues, “judgment and decision making are hyper-responsive to what’s happening on the far-right internet.” https://t.co/810EHPCo61

"Senate Dems considered a requirement banning ICE agents from polling sites as a demand in negotiating the DHS funding bill. But that was not included in their final list..." Crazy idea: Given what Trump's said, update the "final list" to include it. https://t.co/D8MMEvUk7d

NEW: For 13 months, a milestone pediatric cancer bill has had a Sisyphus like struggle for passage: torpedo by Elon, stopped by Rand, undone by Bernie. Cancer-stricken kids went to the chamber to watch it pass, leaving heartbroken. Today, it became law. https://t.co/Z1AGMaEcgL

The biggest ballroom in DC can be found in the trousers of every GOP member of Congress save Massie and Rand Paul.
The house is now 218 R to 214 D. Each Republican member if they had balls would be more powerful than any Senator. But they have to have balls to say no to trump. But they are ball-less or ball free

In 1933, Mussolini closed the national opera to “renovate” it. In 1934, Hitler closed the national opera house to “renovate” it. In 1935, Portuguese dictator Salazar closed the national opera house to “renovate” it. What a weird series of coincidences!
TRUMP is asked if he's going to tear down the Kennedy Center. This is what he says: "I'm not ripping it down. I'll be using the steel. So we're using the structure, we're using some of the marble and some of the marble comes down."

It really seems that the right-wing movement and ops of the past decade—whether it was Brexit, attacks on globalization, economic collapse, MAGA ideology, Hillary’s hacked emails, you name it—all ran through Jeffrey Epstein as a way to entrench power in the billionaire/Epstein
It certainly looks like Jeffrey Epstein conspired with well-known billionaires to undermine democratic institutions and enrich themselves at everyone else’s expense.

It’s fucking crazy that the first member of Congress to get radicalized into QAnon had their faith shattered by personally working with Trump.

That fraud scheme in Minnesota involving Somali Americans that Trump has trumpeted? FBI agents were pulled off the case to do routine immigration work, delaying the investigation, according to this revelatory oral history by @emilybazelon @rachelposer
