In February I urged the City to follow State law and re-start the CTA Citizens Advisory Board. Today, that process has started. We are moving in the right direction.
I’ll always believe that fighting for the right thing is the right thing.
Today, I sent a letter to Mayor Lightfoot encouraging her to re-start the legally mandated CTA Citizens Advisory Board and to fill the vacant seat on the CTA board and the 3 expired terms on the RTA with actual riders.
Riders need a larger & more impactful role in the system.
