As a physician, I know that not everyone’s biology is the same. Tackling the obesity epidemic will require a holistic approach, which includes dietary and physical fitness changes. However, we cannot ignore solutions that have helped so many Americans. In order to make America.
Nothing would do more to improve the health, lifespan and quality of life for Americans than making GLP inhibitors super low cost to the public. Nothing else is even close.

I’m alarmed that the UK’s parliament has passed dangerous legislation legalizing physician assisted suicide. Not only does this violate the sanctity of life, but it fundamentally violates the oath we take as physicians to “first do no harm.”. In every jurisdiction that has.
It is shameful that the British Parliament voted to legalize euthanasia. Life is a gift from our Creator. Any society that adopts a culture of death is in the process of crumbling. House Republicans will promote and respect every life, no matter how old or sick.

Proud to see my bill, the VETT Act, pass unanimously out of the Senate last night. This legislation will update the Federal tax code to ensure that all Congressionally-chartered Veteran Service Organizations are able to receive tax-deductible donations. I urge @POTUS to quickly.

I want to thank @SpeakerJohnson for his continued support of @COVIDSelect’s investigation into our nation’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Amongst many other findings, our final report details far too much fraud and abuse within our public health systems. It will take all.
The COVID Select Subcommittee’s report has delivered a careful evaluation of our nation’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The crisis exposed serious failures in leadership, and this report is a step in the right direction to rebuild trust and guarantee America is better.

I am encouraged to see the Administration support our efforts to help make Americans healthier by allowing Medicare coverage of new, physician prescribed and FDA approved anti-obesity medications. Congress must act, and has been trying, to make any changes permanent in law and.
Today, CMS is proposing anti-obesity medications no longer be excluded from coverage under Medicare Part D or Medicaid. HHS recognizes obesity is a disease, and this rule would allow enrollees access to these life-changing medicines for the first time.
