Praying for the victims of today’s attack. It doesn’t have to be like this. We don’t have to constantly live with the threat of mass gun violence hanging over our heads. We all deserve better. And we can make it better with some common sense and a bit of courage.

Donald Trump Jr. joined an investment fund called 1789 Capital just last year. Since then, the fund has grown to more than $ 1 billion. And that growth has a lot to do with its new access to government money. Agencies that should be making decisions in the public interest are

There is still so much about our health that we do not know. We must continue to fund health research and expand health care— not undermine science and allow health care costs to skyrocket for millions of Americans. One step is with my Healthy MOM Act: https://t.co/VYFc4hIoEo

Fibroids are a strain on health care dollars and are known to disproportionately affect Black women. Yet, for many of them, years of symptoms are dismissed as simply “having bad periods.” This is unacceptable. https://t.co/owObMWLD7L

Senate Republicans voted to reject two different proposals to extend health care subsidies for millions of Americans, almost ensuring that premiums will skyrocket. Amid an affordability crisis that President Trump continues to call a “hoax,” Republicans are doubling and tripling

Instead, we should be taking up the WATER Act, my bill with @SenSanders and @RepRoKhanna. Clean water is a human right. Protecting our water is our duty. https://t.co/upF6jwWGKJ

Today the House is voting on the PERMIT Act. The acronym is nonsense; what the bill does is PERMIT polluters to go wild on our rivers, streams, lakes and shorelines. New Jersey has come a long way in cleaning up our rivers. The PERMIT Act threatens to send us back.

Americans are facing a healthcare affordability crisis. Premiums for many New Jerseyans are skyrocketing; up over 200% in many cases. I've signed on to legislation to fix this GOP-made disaster and all we need is a few Republicans to sign on to give Americans the stability they

Last night in Pennsylvania, Donald Trump called concerns over affordability a “hoax” and denied that prices are rising or that American families are suffering. This came just days after Trump graded the sputtering economy as an “A-plus-plus-plus-plus-plus.” You deserve better

Health care tax credits that help families afford coverage expire on December 31. Without action, monthly premiums will skyrocket. I’m fighting right now to make sure we get this done and prevent huge cost increases for families in the 12th District.

On this day in 1865, the 13th Amendment abolished slavery in the United States, a first step in the long fight for equality for Black Americans. We must never forget the horrors of slavery and must always reject every attempt to erase this shameful chapter of American history.

Let’s not let the disrespectful treatment of our Senator and AG distract from the fact that these proposals - to strip the state Comptroller’s office of its power to fight corruption as well as remove the state police from the AG’s office- are just plain bad for New Jersey.
