Both of my parents grew up in the 60s in a one income blue collar household. They were in families of 5 and 6 kids. This was the type of house they both grew up in.
an average working class man could buy this house in the 50s, support 4 kids and a stay at home wife. today a two income household can't even buy eggs without going into debt wtf is going on
