I'm so glad to see Mayor Olivia Chow call on council to declare gender-based and intimate-partner violence an epidemic. Showing leadership where the province is useless.

Taking a good long Twitter break. I've loved so many of the connections I've made here over the years. I've learned a ton. And now it's time to take a break.

Flemingdon and Thorncliffe deserve more, not less. Add your name to oppose Premier Doug Ford's plan to rip the Science Centre from its community. It’s a beacon of education and exploration. It should be revitalized for the community it serves.

As mayor, I will fight for an Ontario Place for all and a Science Centre that puts Flemingdon and Thorncliffe first.

These issues require multi-level co-ordination and whole boatloads of money. These are all things that, politically, we aren’t very good at.

Agree! Haven’t stopped thinking about it. And love the specificity of its location. Fully grounded in Burlington! A Must see. Big kudos to @clevack
Finally saw @clevack's I Like Movies at the @Fox_Theatre last night. It moved me, emotionally! Was expecting it to be funny, but was unprepared for the devastating sadness. A tremendous accomplishment.

I lived in a building in Montreal for 17 years. One day men knocked on our doors saying there was a new owner and we had to go. Everyone was evicted, including a couple in their 80s. All 6 units in the building were then turned into Airbnbs. Owner has 150 listings on the site.

We’ve done it before. We’ve stopped mega-casino and mega-Ferris wheel on our beloved waterfront. Let’s now stop the mega-spa. @ONPlace4All why can’t we just have mature willow trees, a natural beach and sunsets on our lake?

Okay - but I bet I've spent more time in Grey County than anyone else on this list. Parting points for that as I bite the dust?

Sorry, Margaret.

Brother is in theatres tomorrow. Our NOW cover story was about how this beautiful and moving film remembers a Scarborough that is no longer there. Fitting that those were the final pages printed for a magazine that has since become a memory. Go see it. https://t.co/rIDxxTRmpV
