Thank you to
@WWE
for a wonderful 21 year run. You gave a lad who was happy and in wonderland wrestling on a carnival have a charmed life for 21 years. No complaints and please no one waste time replying as I won’t have a bad work said against the company.x
I will add that
@WWE
saved my life in 1999 when they didn’t need to, kept my family fed and took me all around the world. You have my gratitude forever. You allowed me to live a charmed life.
To the members of the BCC. My favourite song by my favourite band who somehow knew when I was a child to write the story that is my life. It’s been a pleasure fellas. We’ll meet again….. via
@YouTube
Yesterday was my last official day with
@AEW
. I’d like to thank
@TonyKhan
, Megha and all the hard working crew. Contrary to people who’ve never spoken to me or have their information from people who don’t know me or are trying to make themselves noticed,I had a lovely time..(1/2)
Already…. That’s why I stay out the runour mill and gossip!!! I’ve just found out that there’s things being printed about my health. I am healthier than I’ve been in many years. I talked this week to someone about things that had happened to me in 2018.
This is a Professional note from me as I have no other form of SM and would rather my new colleagues see this as I don’t like gossip. I’m am very sorry to everyone effected by my time issues last night. I apologized to everyone personally effected..1/2
A lovely Gentleman who loved his family deeply. I’m truly saddened to hear of the passing of Brodie Lee. My sincerest condolences to his wife and children. It was my honour to know you and wrestle you and I knew how truly great in the ring you were.
As well as booking Toni Storm you should be booking Stephanie Newel ( Tegan Knox). Stephanie is a top class Pro and lovely lady. If you’re a promoter you’d be mad not to.
For 28 years we did our bit together, through up’s and down and some bad but mostly good decisions, to be Pro’s and make the job right. Lots of people got opportunities and made memories for themselves. Job done pal.x
It’s sad when people who have “decent” jobs look down on people who have regular jobs. Never look down on anyone for earning a straight $/£. WO people doing all kinds of jobs the world won’t work.Just had a polite chat to man being rude to a toilet attendant
.(2/2) ….working there and had a great time. Lots of talented Wrestlers, and lovely people to work for. To my fellow BCC members, it was a special, albeit brief few months but it cemented our already strong friendship. To everyone there, thank you for welcoming me. Best wishes.
I arrived in the US on Jan 23rd 1993.29 years ago today I did my 1st TV for WCW being interviewed by
@JRsBBQ
. Thank you to everyone who’s helped me have this charmed life and career in the US.A special thx to everyone in the UK & Europe before then who helped me in the Wrestling
Me and our Tommy. We’re having a special skills day and he’s showing me his impression of a hat. He was riding his unicycle before but I couldn’t get a photo quick enough.
Can’t believe this has turned up. The only time I tried a moonsault. I’ve told you that as it’s unrecognizable as one. Not my strong suit!!!!Where has 27 years gone!!!!
1 year ago today I had open heart surgery to remove a calcified pericardium. Just wanted to get that out as I’m healthy and fit as a butchers dog now. Just wanted to get that out as I’m dedicated to my family and NXT. Please don’t reply, it’s just life.
I don’t court publicity but know it’s part of the job.I don’t bother with you so don’t bother me.Please don’t misquote my interviews so you can get noticed.I don’t care if you ever print another thing about me but at least print what I say, not your version of it
please.Thank you
I was sat with Dusty in his office at the PC one day and his family arrived, Dustin, Cody & their wives.They started to discuss about his health problems that were not really known. I went to leave and Dusty said “Stay there Steven, you’re like family”.Thank you for everything X.
4 years ago today the world lost a one of a kind human being. From 25 Jan ‘93 until that time Dusty Rhodes was at times my boss, mentor,friend and person who I enjoyed the company of as much as anyone. He allowed me to create, enjoy and laugh. I miss him .
Yes,thank you Chris. From us both being on NXT in 2010 until today, being a mentor, announcer and GM, NXT has given huge oppurtunities for many talent who would never of got a chance before, to be real game changers. And it’s all down to you.Thank you so much
We all make mistakes.All the people who’ve had “heat” or problems, have I ever joined in with the pack on you?Perhaps a chat and a bit of guidance would be better.Being a Pro comes in many ways in and out of the ring.
...This is my neck today. You may think you know what you’re doing or you don’t care or “ well this or that...”. I have 4 fused disks and trained my neck properly almost daily. It WILL happen if you keep this up and you don’t want to go through it!
I’m deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Terry Funk.I knew Terry before I came to the US as he came to Europe.A totally incredible, wonderful and lovely man.I have my own treasured tales of times condolences to Terrys well.x
I’ve just realised it’s the 23rd of January. It’s exactly 27 years ago today that I moved to the US to start working for WCW on the 25th. Thank you to everyone who has helped, watched and employed me. I’m a very fortunate lad and I never forget it.
In ‘89 I spent 5 weeks in Germany with Scott Hall.We got ’91 I was on a try out for 1 day for WCW in the UK and,although he would never admit it,got me kept on the 5 day deepest condolence to Scotts well pal.
This is the last time I will do this.For Pro’s.If you pin someone like your life depends on it(cover both shoulders!)and kick out like your life depends on it(we’re portraying fighter with instinct)you will make a better product and draw our fans in far more
As it turned out, my last match was shown on 25 th December 2013 against
@WWECesaro
. Howard Finkle happened to be visiting and I asked for Howard to be the announcer as not only was he the greatest ever but my great friend. I’ll always miss you Howard x.
It’s 10 years today since my final bout against
@ClaudioCSRO
. I couldn’t of gone out with a better bout against someone I rated extremely highly and cared for. Thank you very much indeed to everyone who made that 30 years run in the ring and charmed life possible. x.
Serving as the General Manager or
#WWENXT
has been an incredible honor. To see the men and women of this brand over the last couple of months has been inspiring and invigorating.
Tonight’s major announcement will be yet another step forward for
@WWENXT
.
28 years ago today I got to fight the Japanese Legend Antonio Inoki. It was an honour that I always treasure. I got to fight a man who fought Muhammad Ali. What a charmed life I’ve had.
This incredible young man and World class athlete( google his accomplishments) is as good a Wrestler as it comes. A truly tough ( you don’t get ears like that sleeping on hard pillows), polite, kind but a lion in both heart and deadly skill.
Happy Birthday Man In The Mask, you delectable thing you. I’m playing “ It’s Only Just Begun” by The Carpenters while I whip up your present this morning. See you Wednesday sweetheart.
Deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Mr Antonio Inoki, the legendary Japanese Pro Inoki chose to Wrestle me in 1994 and then we became friends,kept in touch and was always very kind to deepest condolences to his family & fans.
I don’t do this normally publicly but I’m trying to help a old dear friend of mine, Shinjiro Otani. A little part of that is that any of my tshirts under my account at
@PWTees
will be donated to his care. Thank you.
I’m tweeting to you all from the grave. Goodness gracious it’s hot down here. Don’t let that charlatan and custard foot tosspot
@realclintonb
try to contact me. Get the only true psychic in the world
@RamoneTamine
to get in touch with me if any of you need me. Bye bye for now……
I don’t use this Twitter thing much and have no other forms of Social Media. I’m going to be using it though to let people know about my podcast so I’m giving you time to mute my retweets as I know they are a pain and I’m going to seem like an egomaniac!
Thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes(who’d of thought I’d of made 50!!!).Even though I’m an old rogue with a lump of coal for a heart even this has put a lump in my throat.I truly love
@WWENXT
Our Tommy about to have his daily bath. It’s normal for Lizards to flick their tongue but Tommy has just seen the fella who lives across the road and he’s being rude because he doesn’t like him. Need to work on his manners.
Just seen the date. It’s been 28 years today that I moved to the US to start Wrestling for WCW. My first bout for them was January 25th 1993. Thank you to the Wrestling Business and to all who helped on this charmed journey I’ve led.
If you are a Pro looking for work, be a Pro and find out the correct way to apply for
@WWE
or other Wrestling companies positions.Putting yourself over on twitter to companies is absolutely not the way to show yourself in the best way.
Very rarely do I put stuff on of mine. This is more a tribute to the great Davey Boy Smith. Us going at it British style in ‘93. No one was doing this stuff in the US. Glad I got to do it with him.
On January 25th 1993 in met a great man who became a great friend and mentor. A proper man in and out of the ring. One of the true greats. Harley Race passed today. I will be forever grateful for the time I’ve spent with him.
My deepest condolences to the family of Shad Gaspard. Always when I was around him a lovely, smiling man and his showing of the ultimate gesture to being a real man and father when it matters mean more than any words I could write.
I’m just packing away all my wrestling gear to put in the attic and found these trunks that I used to wear in the mid 2000’s. I’m glad nobody ponced that idea!!!
Thank you to everyone who watched
@WWENXT
#TakeoverInYourHouse
. It never becomes redundant keep saying this as I mean it with all my heart, thank you very much indeed to all the incredible competitors and crew who make NXT so special.
There are certain matches that will be watched in 20 years and the people who know, understand and study the detailed art form that pure competitor Pro Wrestling can achieve will look back on and recommend to study. This match was one of them. Brilliant.
My deepest condolences to Taryn, Dillon & Dustin and family of Bobby Eaton who has passed dear friend, partner, travel buddy, teacher, superbly skilled Pro who would make everyone who knew him feel happy inside, love you.x
I can’t spell or tweet very well because I wasted all my school years daydreaming of being a Pro Wrestler. I must learn how to spell and tweet correctly but first I’ll just be using my grey matter for contemplating dominance with the
#BCC
.
I wished I hadn’t seen this and this is why I don’t look on here much. This was a jab aimed at the JAS, people we are fighting with at the moment. Stop trying to make headlines or cause trouble. Another reason for me to stay out of the wrestling bubble.
When wrestlers say “Ah,but we had a cold match,no story etc” I always say that of coarse you’ve got a have to beat that person across the ring from you or you can’t feed yourself.Anything else you got to work with is a bonus....
That match was a perfect example of two competitors trying to win.Please remember,at the end of the day we are portraying Professional Fighters and your job is to win.
If your a good guy and you turn to the ref and hold up your fingers in a 2 sign after a kick out-1 ,you come across like a complainer.2-you make yourself look like a divvy because you’d know if it was 3 as the bell would of rung.A villain can complain.Think!
I’m deeply saddened to hear of the passing of my friend and truly a one off talent Adrian Street. My deepest condolences to Linda and Adrian’s family. Rest well.x
About to give our Tommy, my Red Tegu a bath before he starts to settle down for his winter sleep ( brumation) for the next couple of months. Our Bobby has been asleep since October.
I’m sorry flower. I wasted all my time daydreaming of becoming a Pro Wrestler at school so I didn’t learn much. What a waste of the last thirty five years of my life. I apologize.
Happy Father’s Day Dad. I know you won’t see this but you are the nicest, kindest, hardest working man I’ve ever met. I couldn’t of possibly had a better father. Love you Pop.x
