Sorry but that’s actually exactly what 2025 was supposed to be about. Pretending a team with a rookie QB is in win now mode is disingenuous. Are there exceptions like Jayden Daniels, CJ stroud and Bo nix? Yes. But those are the exceptions. Not the rule No revisionist history
As always, @DDuggan21 nails it. 2025 was not supposed to be about a “promising young nucleus” or “headed in the direction.” It was about results. The Giants needed to win games. At least that’s what the owner said at the end of the year when he kept this regime. Results:

This is a big reason I prefer Kafka over any offensive coach. Is there anything to suggest Kubiak is a much better leader than Kafka or something? Kafka WILL get his shot at a HC job one day. Nobody has been better than Kafka these past few weeks. With no QB1, WR1 or RB1..

THIS right here is why I’m so open to Kafka being the head coach. He’s operating this offense better than ANYBODY in the NFL. Don’t underestimate how big of a role he’s playing with Dart. If he can get the troops to rally behind him, & bring in a good D it’d be hard to ignore.

I stand by the fact that Joe Schoen made the right decision
Saquon Barkley, who finished 100 yards shy of the all-time rushing record in 2024, is 39th in the NFL in yards per carry and 17th amongst RBs in yards per game.

I feel pretty confident that the right coach puts this team as currently constituted in the playoffs next year. Dart, Nabers, Skat, AC, Burns, Dex, etc.
According to the reactionary side of the fanbase, these are all horrible players with no upside, and we should move on from them.

@RationalGMENFan People who know football know the Giants are probably the best 2-10 team everyone has seen. Winning in the NFL is a learned skill. This team is playing great for 3 quarters. And failing in the 4th. This is fixable. I am 💯 more confident today than this time last year.

There is nothing to be down about #NYGiants fans if you just adjust your view of this team which should not be hard to do. They are in a rebuild competing well against the best teams in the NFL and are just some competent coaching and couple players away from a playoff team.
