It sounds absurd, but performing a familiar task with your non-dominant side is a great way to “wake-up” your brain when you switch back to the usual side. Only lasts for a couple reps tho.
Switch the stimulus. Jacob Wood will hit plenty of 90’s in the Spring for us, but turns out he can also throw 71 lefty (with pretty good mechanics!)

Before someone tells me he’s going to tear up his shoulder- he is rehabbing this fall, and has been throwing lefty all fall to stay engaged and be able to help the team in drills and such. Letting gifted athletes be athletic is fun.
