For those looking for a streamlined checklist for 2025 Bowman Chrome, here you go! . Most Prospsects in the CL are 1st's, and most have both base and Auto. If not, they are noted.

Alejandro Rosario, who had base in 2025 Bowman, so is fairly likely to have autos in BC, slides down in my reaction to his not having had his Tommy John surgery yet, and likely out until 2027 now. Sucks sucks sucks. Hopefully won't have to keep ranking him, because I hate it.

I forget pitchers are people too!. Gage Jump con't his excellent season. IDK if the ceiling is huge, but his floor is rock solid. Plenty of new names in the top 20 - pitching is always tough to gage based on numbers alone - don't want to say too much about anything specific.

Among age-20 or younger players, only Eduardo Quintero has more XBH than Maxton Martin. He's absolutely just a bat-1st prospect, but that bat looks pretty great for a 2023 11th Rounder.

Montero & Arguelles are DSL repeaters, but were also significant ($1.2 MM, $700 K, respectively) signers in 2024. That still holds a lot of weight with Topps in how they choose players to include here!.

I chickened out & chunked several DSL performers in the late teens here. ~chances of being in BC:. Marconi German - 25%.Sebastian Dos Santos - 5%.Edgar Montero - 35%.Cristian Arguelles - 35%.Juan Sanchez - 50%.Cris Rodriguez - 95%.Josuar De Jesus Gonzalez - 95%.Angel Salio - 30%.

Luis Arana has 0 chance of being in Bowman Chrome because he was such an unheralded signing, but for me, he's the best 2025 J15 DSL performer. You can doubt the projection, but I'm not.

Dauri now sits there as on an island as the top player to not be promoted from the Complex, BTW. Roldy Brito has been great for most of the year, but continuing what he was doing at the Complex in Low-A is a good sign. He doesn't have a body for big power but the swing is sound.

Promotions are doing some heavy lifting. Not just bc of the bump they get in my scores, but bc it can shows what the team thinks of a player. e.g. Guards-wise -- Dauri Fernandez & Juneiker Caceres both have major potential, but can't ignore Dauri getting the bump & Caceres not.

Nate George hits the archetype for a fantastic hobby player perfectly. No one will really sleep on him at this juncture, but if he's in BC, he should be a top 2-3 chase. Maybe moreso than Florentino.

Edward Florentino has moved past Rainiel Rodriguez for #1. It's not Rainiel's fault! He's a catcher, and catchers just generally get less hobby love. That's the tipping point there.

We'll find out (probably) in a few days if Topps had the foresight to include him in Bowman Chrome - that'll be his last chance to have Bowman cards!. Make no mistake, Karros should/would have a bit of hobby intrigue!.

And yes, in the DSL I would say Luis Arana has outperformed Peña, but he signed for 30k. There is no chance Topps includes him. Topps really only paints by number with bonuses with these J15's in the same year they're signed.

For me Elian Peña is the likeliest J15 top performer to be in the product. He's hit the perfect balance of showing maturity with loud performance. Everyone will see that. He could be the top name in the product. HM Dorian Soto, Cris Rodriguez.

Can't talk about BC without the J15 signers. Andrew Salas is #1, but he's had a really boring year becasue he was bumped to Low-A for the entire year at age 17, and has face all the physical challenges you'd expect.

Edward Florentino - When I wrote that piece he was just getting started with his completely torrid tear of a season (he wasn't this fantastic in May). If in BC, he'll be a Top 5 chase, easily.

Nate George - OK, so I just skipped him for my PLive piece bc he was in the Complex, and I picked and chose guys from that level for the piece. He's certainly outperformed the Complex stigma already and has the look of a very, very intriguing multi-dimensional hobby prospect.
