I arranged cover @NewcastleHosps. I can 100% say that no junior was pressured. They volunteered to come in. Everyone has a right to decide for themselves whether they want to strike or not without undue pressure/bullying. Shaming those who choose not to strike is not cool.
Would provide meaningful impact. But unfortunately the middle grade rota at RVI is being propped up by staff grades/sas doctors and research registrars during the strikes (for gen surg) The elective work goes on. Support your juniors. Cancel the elective work! @JackieDanielNHS.
