One thing I don't think folks realize is how unethical and corrupt the media actually is. On any given issue, because they make their money on clicks, and clicks are directly dependent on some version of heightened emotional state, the ones that survive are active irritators

Hard not to compare to Tanner '88. Meaner, though. Trudeau was gentler - not naive, but maybe more hopeful? Had forgotten how vérité Candidate's style is, sneakily ambitious, especially in editing. Nervy and energetic.

I've always believed the effects of classical music appreciation all through school would be far reaching. I can't back it up, but I have a hunch the musical forms themselves create corresponding ones in the cognitive architecture of the listener.
