Delighted (and genuinely a bit shocked) to have found out that I’ve been selected for the Emerging Leaders programme at @RCSnews for 2024. Really excited to meet the rest of my cohort in Feb and take advantage of all that the programme has to offer!

The 2am coffee (and occasional pizza..) on these nightshifts were invaluable for morale - I liked to gather the team for a check in and flat white around then when I could. It would be a real loss to the site if this were to stop @qeuh_surgery @NHSGGC @Qeuhtheatres

Disappointing to learn today that the elogbook app is being withdrawn…not a perfect tool but very handy for quickly logging cases during a theatre list!

I can’t stop thinking about the horrific rape & murder of Moumita whilst she was at work in the hospital One of the things that gets to me was that her Dad bought her a car so she’d be safe commuting for her night shifts… And then she was attacked at work - a place that’s

It's an utter tragedy that babies - in Britain, in 2024 - are dying of preventable, Victorian diseases in because of fears around whooping cough vaccines. Parents - please chat through your concerns with an NHS nurse or doctor you trust. We won't judge, we'll listen. (1/2)
